A CASED .30 RIMFIRE SIX-SHOT POCKET REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY'S PATENT', no visible serial number,
circa 1865, with 2 3/4in. octagonal barrel, the top-strap signed 'ADKIN, BEDFORD', borderline engraved plain front-locking cylinder, borderline engraved frame, lift-up hinged loading gate, one-piece chequered walnut grip, iron butt-cap, articulated rammer mounted to right hand side of barrel and sheathed single action trigger, re-finished, together with a slightly later mahogany case adapted for this revolver, re-lined in green velvet and complete with a turnscrew, the lid with rectangular brass escutcheon engraved 'PRESENTED TO GEORGE LOGAN BY THE FOREMAN AND OFFICE STAFF OF GREENOCK CABINETMAKING CO, 4TH OCTOBER 1894'
